Some notes:
- The rankings go from upper left (Baltimore, 30th place) to lower right (New York Yankee, 1st place).
- The lowest score is Houston's 2012 Outlook.
- The highest score is the NYY's Finances.
- For the teams with the lowest 15 overall rankings, 11 of them have higher 2013+ Outlook scores than 2012 Outlook scores. For the teams in the top 15 overall rankings this is reversed; 11 have 2012 Outlook scores higher than 2013+ Outlook scores.
- Tampa Bay and their top 10 ranking but minuscule finance score
- Philadelphia and their high overall ranking but poor 2013+ and Operations scores
- The bottom heavy Chicago Cubs (which should give Cubs fans some hope).
